Advanced Topic Seminars

This module introduces learners to the latest technological advancements in computing. Learners are encouraged to research these topics and to actively participate in open scholarly discussions. Learners also complete a project in which they will research and present a cutting-edge topic of interest while using the latest technologies.

1. Analyse and evaluate advanced topics through critical thinking and participation in scholarly discussions.

2. Evaluate the opportunities and challenges presented by emerging technologies.

3. Apply research skills including sourcing information, analysis, and interpretation to gather and analyse data.

4. Create a project on a modern computing technology using the latest technologies and research skills.
