This module will evaluate and analyse festivals and planned events from a multidimensional perspective. The key perspectives explored in the module will be culture, the planned event experience, tourism and emerging trends.

1. Analyse the significant role of international festivals and events in the image and development of destinations.

2. Critically appraise the role of culture in international festivals and events.

3. Investigate the audience and participant experience of international festivals and events.

4. Evaluate the environmental, social and governance (ESG) issues in the event management and event tourism context.
