VEX Primary School Competition Since 2020, ATU Transcend and ThermoKing have joined forces to run the Galway Mayo leg of the VEX Primary School competition. Invent For the Planet Transcend and the Mechanical & Indsutrial Engineering Department host the Irish leg of Invent for the planet wehre university students meet over a weekend to solve global world problems. VEX Secondary School Competition Since 2021, ATU Transcend and Boston Scientific are working together to introduce Robotics and coding in the Galway Mayo through the secondary school VEX Robotics initiative. TeenTurn project squad and Robotics Club The Transcend team and the local Industry are supporting TeenTurn in their endeavour to develop secondary school girls’ interest in STEM disciplines through projects and coding club.
