UX Design Principles

This module introduces the learner to the fundamentals of user experience design. As part of this module, important characteristics of good user experience and usability will be explored and applied. The learner will be involved in the use of a User Experience Framework to facilitate innovation and learning.

1. Describe the field of User Experience and why it is important for consumers and businesses.

2. Identify and apply appropriate factors that contribute to good user experience design.

3. Recognise the importance of usability when designing user interfaces.

4. Identify and use appropriate User Experience Frameworks.
